My name is Spencer Annis. I am a follower of Jesus, worship leader, artist, and mix engineer out of Charlotte, NC. I am a 32 year old father of two that is deeply passionate about the expression of musical worship. I believe that music has the ability to move past walls in peoples hearts and reach the deeper places. I also believe that we as humans have such a unique ability and opportunity to present our paise and our worship to the Lord as a fragrant offering, allowing Him to be glorified through it and use it to draw people near to Himself…no matter the genre or creative expression.

Some background-

I was born and raised on the eastern shore of Virginia. In 2012 I began college at Virginia Tech studying Mechanical engineering in which I received my Bachelors degree. Half way through college I encountered Jesus in such a real and personal way and dedicated my all to Him. From that point on, He gave me a heart for musical worship and I began to lead worship for XA (Chi Alpha) and a local church in college. From there, I moved to Nashville, TN in 2018 to work an engineering job, and in my spare time began learning how to craft and release the music the Lord put on my heart to share. I continued leading worship and working on my music until 2020 when the Lord called me to Lynchburg, VA to help with the planting of Breakthrough Church.

This is when I met my beautiful wife Jenna, and got married in October of 2020. While in Lynchburg directing worship and prayer rooms for Breakthrough, I connected with friends who have helped co-produce all of my personal music since - Benja Schick and Joshua Sosin. It was also during this time that I began growing a passion for the mixing and mastering side of music production.

Leaning on the wisdom of some friends I had met in Nashville, I continued honing this craft until March of 2023 when mixing work began overtaking my full time job. It seemed like the Lord was allowing me to pursue this in order to partner with indie artists and churches take their music to the next level and release something beautiful and sonically “excellent”. I worked alongside my friend Joshua Sosin to produce other artists’ music from start to finish until my workload apart from our LLC “honeyverb” became enough to go full time as a solo mix engineer and at times “producer”.

In April of 2025 my wife and I felt the Lord was calling us out to the Charlotte, North Carolina area, where have resided since October of 2025. I continue to release music as the Lord allows and mix/produce full time. If you are an artist or aspire to release music that has been on your heart, hit the contact button below.
